Overview

The “Exia” is the first desk designed completely for computer enthusiasts who want a premium desk. The concept stems from the idea that a desk should act like an extension of your computer and all computer devices including the computer & monitor, which all directly plug into the desk.

This concept makes it easier to plug in and maneuver devices without awkwardly bending over or reaching behind your computer, as such with current desks. It also allows you to avoid a mess of tangled wires beneath your desk by plugging in your computer and devices directly into the desk.

USB

The “Exia” desk is equipped with 7 USB ports that are strategically placed on the desk’s surface and function to connect to your computer and/or its devices. This is the first concept of its kind and is one of the many ways the “Exia” is superior to all other computer enthusiast desks.

Two of the ports are located on the front left side and allow the user to quickly plug in a portable hard drive, USB key, Ipod or even USB head phones, directly into the computer. And we can’t think of anyone who enjoys changing the batteries in their wireless mouse or dealing with the mess of cords around their desk, so we’ve placed another 3 USB ports in the centre of the desk.

These ports allow the user the flexibility of plugging in wired or wireless devices, such as a keyboard, mouse, etc. There are 2 more ports located on the back of the desk for larger devices, such as a printer.

LED

The “Exia” has 2 light bars located at the back of the desk to illuminate the area behind your monitor. Not only does this provide ambient light but also helps to keep your eyes from straining, so you can work harder or play longer.

For your convenience we have also included a switch to turn the LED lights on and off at your preference.

HDMI

Since most of your devices will be used with the desk already we thought it would be great if you could plug in your monitor as well so we included that feature as well! The monitor(s) can easily be plugged into the desk by using HDMI cables saving you from a wire clutter which would normally occur with a conventional desk.

Audio

The desk comes with a handy audio switch located on the left hand side which allows the user to quickly switch from using their headphones or a stereo sound system without the need of unplugging or switching setting on your computer.

Power

The inclusion of power into the desk is another unique aspect to “Exia”.Not only can you power up the desk and its components, but the desk also provides fully functioning power plugs to power up the monitors, printers and other devices.

There are a total of 4 power plugs located near the back of the desk.

FAQ

How much will shipping be?

Obviously that depends on your location. Considering that for now we are only taking orders via Kickstarter shipping within the USA is included within the kickstarter price.

Is there any warranty?

Of course! There is a limited warranty of 1 year from purchase, it will cover any manufacturing defects.
